Widerman Malek, PL is seeking an individual for a legal assistant position. Individuals who are eager to learn about new legal subject matter, leverage technology to enhance legal practice, and generate creative solutions to provide service that surpasses client expectations will excel in this position.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting attorneys in a variety of technology-related law practice
  • Leveraging practice management software in preparing and filing form documents
  • Working in a team setting to identify opportunities to improve office workflow and implement changes
  • Communicating with clients on the phone, in person, and through email
  • Scheduling consultations and maintaining calendars for the attorneys and practice group
  • Performing various administrative duties such as preparing expense reports and scheduling appointments

Job Specifications and Requirements:

  • Problem solving, both internal and client-facing challenges
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) required
  • Adobe Acrobat experience required
  • TABS/Practice Master experience is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately assess and triage matters
  • Ability to maintain and handle confidential information
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
