Bio:

Edward Kinberg represents clients in matters related to government contracts, construction law and business law. Ed’s background as a contract attorney with the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp (JAG) provided him with extensive knowledge and training in the area of government contracts. As a Board Certified Construction Law Attorney, Ed’s expertise and experience is beneficial in handling cases that involve construction of large government projects, complex commercial construction and individual home owners.

Ed established his private law practice, Kinberg & Associates, LLC, in 1996 and has assisted clients with government contract issues at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Cape Canaveral Air Station (CCAFS) and other federal facilities in the southeast United States. His cases includes construction disputes related to the shuttle launch pads at KSC, commercial launch facilities at CCAFT, installation of a jet fuel pipeline at Eglin Air Force Base and construction of a helicopter hanger at Opa Locka Coast Guard Station.

Ed and the staff from Kinberg & Associates, LLC joined Widerman Malek, PL in 2015 and continue to provide legal services in the areas of government contracts, construction law and business law.

Ed is involved in many community organizations including the Melbourne Regional Chamber and the Brevard Bar Foundation. Ed was instrumental in founding the first Academies in the Brevard County High Schools.
