Jessica focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, prosecution, and civil matters. She works with individuals and companies to protect their valuable brands, trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade secrets and other creative works against infringement, so they can maximize business success in the marketplace. Jessica also advises her clients on monetizing their intellectual property with various types of contractual agreements.

Jessica has represented her clients in various federal district courts throughout the United States, including those in the Eastern District of Virginia, Eastern District of Tennessee, Central District of California, and the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. She has also represented numerous clients in state courts of Florida.

Jessica believes that being a successful litigator means having real courtroom experience. As a Public Defender, she was in the courtroom daily including being lead counsel in jury trials, motion practice, and negotiations for settlement. Her ability to be effective inside and outside of the courtroom helps her to advise clients in their best interests and protect their ideas and inventions. In law school, Jessica was a lead advocate on the Mock Trial Team and participated in the 20th Annual Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition and the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition. Jessica also graduated from her law school with a Litigation Honors Certificate.

Jessica is passionate about being an active member of her local legal community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Brevard County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division as well as the Board of Directors for the Brevard County Association for Women Lawyers. She is also an active Associate Member of the Vassar B. Carlton American Inn of Court.

As a Brevard County native, Jessica enjoys listening to live music and going to the beach with her family. When she’s not practicing law, you can find Jessica in any kind of dance class or working out in a spin class.
