Widerman Malek, PL, headquartered in Melbourne Florida with several satellite offices, is seeking a full-time Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our team at our location in Celebration, Florida. Responsibilities will include:

  • Answer telephone, screen, and direct calls accordingly
  • Take and relay messages
  • Provide information to clients both over the phone and in person
  • Receive and sort mail, as well as deliveries
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Prepare correspondence and documents
  • Open new client files
  • Manage client account activity
  • Filing, faxing, emailing, and scanning documents
  • Communicating with other legal professionals
  • Scheduling consultations and maintaining calendars for the office
  • Very light travel between celebration office and Melbourne office

You must be an excellent communicator, well organized, and proficient with computers, particularly Microsoft Office. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, while maintaining a personal and professional presentation.

A 2 year degree, or 2 years of law office experience preferred. A 4 year degree in legal studies or paralegal studies is a plus, but not required. Experience in TABS billing software is also a plus.
