“KICKIN’ IT FOR OWEN” FUNDRAISER SUCCESS

On April 28th Widerman Malek, PL sponsored a “kickball tournament and family fun day”, fundraiser for Owen Johnson.  5 year old Owen lost his sister Hannah and incurred a severe spinal cord injury in a car accident nearly 2 years ago.  Through the amazing support of the community WM was able to reach their goal of raising $25,000 to purchase a medical FES bike that Owen needs to prevent many secondary medical complications, including muscle atrophy, associated with paralysis.

WM would like to especially thank Charlie & Jakes Bar-B-Q, Beachside for providing the amazing food and donating the proceeds to Owen.  WM would also like to thank the Florida Beer Company, who also donated the proceeds from their sales to Owen.  The turnout for the event was more than WM could have hoped for.  Owen, as well as the entire Johnson family, hold a special place in the hearts of the WM team.

Thanks Again For Your Support!
