On Monday, November 14, 2022, Carol Craig, Founder and CEO of Sidus Space, was featured on Good Morning America during their Trailblazing Women series. This series focuses on women that are breaking barriers in various industries and serving as examples/role models to younger women.

This feature was very special to the Widerman Malek team as Carol Craig has been a client since just about the beginning of the firm in 2003.  The list of Ms. Craig’s accomplishments is quite long, and it is a privilege to represent her and her various companies over the years.

I first met Ms. Craig when we were serving on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of the Space Coast. Ms. Craig is a US Navy Veteran and one of the first female pilots that was combat rated. With the base of operations for Sidus Space being in Brevard County, Florida, it has been remarkable to watch the tireless dedication that Ms. Craig shows to the community. She is one that promotes volunteerism, charity, family, entrepreneurship, and several other traits that one can only hope are prioritized in their community.

As the founder and CEO of Sidus Space, and having grown the company to being publicly traded, Sidus Space became the first publicly traded aerospace company that was founded by a woman.  The mission of Sidus Space is to increase “the viability of low-cost access to space by enabling the rapid and affordable deployment of disruptive applications and technologies and by supporting those who develop them worldwide.”

Widerman Malek congratulates Ms. Craig on her accomplishments and wishes her and her team continued success.
