Christina Agovino is an associate who focuses her practice on estate planning and probate. She works with individuals and families to plan for the future and protect their interests.
Christina represents clients in estate and probate litigation, including disputes involving estates, trusts, and related matters. She brings a thoughtful, litigation-focused perspective to resolving conflicts and protecting her clients’ interests.
Her litigation experience includes work with both federal and state prosecutors. With the United States Attorney’s Office in Orlando, she conducted legal research and analysis, prepared draft legal documents, organized case files, and assisted with trial preparation. Previously, with the State Attorney’s Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, she handled comprehensive case workups, including legal research and factual investigation, represented cases at pretrial conferences and arraignments, and managed an active caseload under attorney supervision.
She also completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Alicia Polk. She researched emerging legal issues, drafted memoranda analyzing legal developments, and observed court proceedings. She also served as an Admissions Ambassador for Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, assisting prospective students and supporting recruitment and outreach initiatives.
Christina earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, magna cum laude, from Saint Leo University, where she participated in the 3+3 Accelerated Law Program. She attended Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where she served as president of the Criminal Law Society and participated on the Trial Team, Council for Children, and as a Dean’s Study Fellow. She also received an Academic Merit Scholarship and the Legal Research and Writing Book Award.
She is actively involved with Fostering Change Foster Closet, a nonprofit initiative her family established after seeing firsthand how often children enter foster placements with few or no belongings. What began as a small clothing closet has expanded to provide clothing, food, household essentials, holiday assistance, and other support to foster children and families experiencing hardship. Christina helped operate the organization while attending college and law school and remains involved in supporting its work.
