The world lost a great man on November 30, 2018 when the forty-first President of the United States, George Herbert Walker Bush, passed away. In recognition of his service to the United States, President Trump issued a Presidential Proclamation and has appointed December 5, 2018 to be a National Day of Mourning. Accordingly, the United States Patent and Trademark Office announced that it will be closed on December 5 in observance of the National Day of Mourning.
