Widerman Malek Federal Procurement Attorney Ed Kinberg attended a full day seminar on Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity regulations in Tampa sponsored by yesterday hosted by the U.S. Air Force, Northrop Grumman and the University of Southern California (USC) Center for Economic Development.
The event focused on assisting small businesses in understanding cybersecurity requirements when providing direct or indirect services or supplies to the Federal Government. Under these regulations, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are required to implement the cybersecurity standards set out in National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171
