Ozzy Diaz focuses his practice on business and civil litigation. Ozzy assists individual and corporate clients with a multitude of legal matters, including those involving business, finance, probate, and real estate.

As an experienced trial attorney, Ozzy’s legal research, writing, courtroom, and client service skills make him an essential member of Widerman Malek’s litigation team. He works in the firm’s Melbourne office and helps a wide array of clients with their legal needs. He speaks fluent Spanish.

After graduating from law school and becoming a licensed attorney, Ozzy served as an assistant public defender for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Vero Beach, Florida. His career also includes other legal and corporate positions, including judicial intern for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Viera, Florida, and procurement intern and supply chain analyst for a major defense and communications corporation in Melbourne, Florida.

Ozzy strongly believes in the importance of volunteerism and continually increasing his legal and business knowledge. He plans to expand his involvement in the Brevard and Indian River Bar Associations. He also is looking forward to furthering his volunteer service in other local professional and non-profit community organizations.

Along with his legal work and professional activities, Ozzy loves spending time with his wonderful wife and two children. He is active as a parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, as well as with Florida Tech’s Catholic Campus Ministry. Ozzy also enjoys playing recreational basketball.
