After almost a decade, we get to keep the house. We are happy about the terms given: we will be paying 1,243.00 (escrow included) for 30 years based on a principal balance of $223,250.00 after modification at 2% fixed rate. Plus a balloon payment amount of $77,428.00.

To structure a more affordable payment, they have forgiven $329,450.00 and never required to repay this amount.
