Widerman Malek Attorneys Meet with Japanese Counterparts

Mark Malek and Dan Pierron had the opportunity to meet with Tatsuya Sawada of Sugimura Intellectual Property Services during the IP Practice in Japan session of the AIPLA mid-winter conference.  Mr. Sawada is the Managing Partner of the Palo Alto office of SugimuraSugimura is a patent and trademark law firm based in Tokyo Japan.  Under the leadership of Mr. Sugimura, the firm has expanded their presence into the United States.  The president of the firm, Mr. Sugimura, as well as Ms. Baba hosted Mr. Malek in Tokyo in November 2014 during his tour of the Japanese Patent Office and meetings with Japanese patent clients that the firm services in the United States.  Widerman Malek looks forward to a fruitful relationship with Sugimura IP Services.
