The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Mergers & Acquisitions experience, contract matters, as well as intermediate corporate organizational and transactional experience, and will be licensed to practice law in the state of FL, or have the ability to become licensed to practice law in the state of FL. Portable business is a plus.

On Friday, May 27th, the team of Widerman Malek went to Space Coast Stadium in Viera to view the game between the Brevard County Manatees vs. the Tampa Yankees. Please feel free to view pictures of the event below.

Space Coast Women In Defense and Space Coast STEM Council hosted the 1st Annual Sandbagger Invitational Golf Tournament on March 11th. All of the proceeds generated from this event will be used to enhance Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Brevard County. The Widerman Malek, PL team consisting of Scott Widerman, Mason Williams, Eric Hostetler and Chris Sherman, took first place! Congratulations! Mason Williams was also on the planning committee for the tournament. A great time was had by all.

Attorney Mason Williams of Widerman Malek, PL has recently been appointed to the Barry Law School Alumni Chapter Executive Board as the Secretary. Mason is the first Board member living outside of the Orlando area to become a member of the Board. Mason plans to strive for active association and community involvement throughout the Barry Law School Alumni community.

LEAD Brevard, the county wide leadership and development organization, announced its annual 4 Under 40 Business Leadership Awards on February 12, 2016, at FIT’s Gleason Auditorium. Widerman Malek, PL is very pleased to announce that Aaron Thalwitzer, a partner with the firm, was selected as one of the winners.
The criteria for nominees included demonstrated excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession. It was also important for them to be seen as role models for others personally and professionally and to contribute time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community. Aaron is the second Widerman Malek, PL attorney to be chosen for the 4 Under 40 Leadership Award, following Managing Partner Mark Malek, who was selected in 2011.
